Narration As Books Atlantis Unmasked (Warriors Of Poseidon #4)
A warrior scarred... A descendant of Diana... When two worlds collide... Atlantis is unmasked. Alexios survived two years of unspeakable torture at the hands of a vampire goddess. Now he's been ordered to team up with a beautiful warrior and take on the most dangerous mission of his life: to retrieve the Vampire's Bane. Without it, Atlantis can't ascend to the surface and take its rightful place in the world. But when evil threatens, will Alexios be led by duty-or his heart? Grace is part of the rebellion against the vampires and shape-shifters trying to take over her world. She is deadly with her bow, because when she takes aim, she never misses her target. But suddenly she's focused on a damaged Atlantean warrior who sees her as a weapon, not as a woman. When thousands of lives are on the line, will passion overrule, or will her aim be true?Rating About Books Atlantis Unmasked (Warriors Of Poseidon #4)

Fourth in the Warriors of Poseidon paranormal romance series about the Seven, warriors who form a protective guard for the crown prince of Atlantis. The couple focus in on Alexios and Grace Havilland at Fort Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, Florida. The jewel focus is the Vampire's Bane.My TakeThe series plot line [that hasn't much tension] is the need to recover all the gems that belong in Poseidon's Trident. Without those gems, when Atlantis rises up from the ocean floor, it will beI love this series! This one wasn't as good as the others have been but it was still really good. My only real problem was Grace. I wasn't a huge fan of hers. I hate when characters live in denial. I also hated that she was so worried about being the one to take care and protecting the rebels.. She is a 25 year old human. I get that she was the commander of that particular rebel base but why the hell would you get upset about having some atlantis warrior help? I don't get it. She would get mad
★★★1/2 This is one of those PNR "brotherhood" series that reads like a UF that we're seeing a lot of these days. If you've read J.R. Ward's "Black Dagger Brotherhood" or Gena Showalter's "Lords of the Underworld" series then you know what I'm talking about. Each book features a different couple and a different mission or stage of the overall series battle. And yes, while the couple does hook up at the end, it certainly isn't a HEA because the series struggle is still continuing into the next

Alexios has been through a lot. He was held prisoner and tortured by Anubisa, the Goddess. He learned to get pleasure out of pain and wonders if he will ever be fit to love normally. In comes Grace; independent and strong, yet caring. She's used to being alone and wants to keep it that way. When these two meet, they go against all their carefully constructed rules realizing they don't have to be alone.I liked the fact that Alexios got his much deserved happily-ever-after.I did notice that the plot
Fun... I'm taking a break from this series though, they are all starting to feel the same.
I like this book and this series. I can't wait to start the next one.
