Mary Higgins Clark, the "Queen of Suspense," has crafted a very special holiday story about a child's courage in the face of danger, and the power of love. Charged with menace and thrilling suspense, it is the #1 New York Times bestselling author's gift to readers for all seasons.

When Catherine Dornan's husband, Tom, is diagnosed with leukemia, she and their two young sons travel with him to New York during the holiday season for a lifesaving operation. On Christmas Eve, hoping to lift the boys' spirits, Catherine takes them to see Rockefeller Center's famous Christmas tree; while there, seven-year-old Brian notices a woman taking his mother's wallet. Evaluate About Books Silent Night
2.5My first read book in 2016. And not a very good one, if I may add.Silent Night is a story about a family whose son gets kidnapped on Christmas eve, written by one and only Mary Higgins Clark aka 'Queen of Suspense'. First thing I want to say is that I have no idea how she got the name 'Queen of Suspense'. When reading her books, suspense is not really the first word that comes to mind.Secondly, this really wasn't a good book. The plot was predictable, characters were dumb and dialogue was

A quick fun read. Plot runs like a Hallmark holiday movie. Light suspense with a happy ending.

Attempting to read Christmas fiction for this week. Honestly, I sort of stopped caring about halfway through and had to force myself to finish it.

I have never read a book by Mary Higgins Clark. I've purposely avoided her books, as I have w/books by James Patterson, Debbie Macomber and other similar authors. I see people reading these books on the subway, and they line the bookshelves at Stop & Shop. I've always dismissed them. But is it right to dismiss things you've never examined or at least perused? And so a few days ago, my mother brought me this book. She'd read it, said "it wasn't great literature but it's an intriguing story."

Silent Night is second book of Mary Higging Clark I have read so far. I started liking her works after I read Moonlight becomes you last December. Contrary to my first book of her, Silent Night was intended to be a Christmas gift from the author to her readers. The story has a suspense element (which did not surprise me at all) woven around a Christmas theme in New York. If you haven't read this book yet, wait until next Christmas to make your read interesting.

Just in time for the holiday season. In another classic Christmas mystery from Mary Higgins Clark, Silent Night, she told us a heart-warming tale about love and life. For Catherine Dorman, she took her family to New York City for a life-saving operation on her husband who was just diagnosed with leukemia. To lift off their spirits, they went to Rockefeller. But her son Brian saw a woman pickpocket her wallet and steal the St. Christopher medal that would help save his father's life. He chased

Review of Silent Night on Kati's Bookaholic Rambling Reviews.http://katisbookaholicramblingreviews...Ohh how I miss reading Mary Higgins Clark books so much she is most definitely Queen of Suspense. She writes so flawless and too the point that I love gobbling up each paragraph she writes. I just need to know and learn more about the story in each of her books. So I didn't hesitant when I grab two of her Christmas books at a library sale. I will tell you the truth I really love Silent Night a
