Representaion Toward Books The Revelations of August Barton (August Barton #2)

August Barton thought his tribulations were over, but some truths are hard to swallow. He’s been with Rose Varley for over a year, and has his heart set on taking the next step: a marriage proposal. He’s not prepared, however, for the obstacles that soon find their way into Augie’s life—tornadoes, drunken bachelorette parties, and an earth-shattering confession from his stepdad John are all trials Augie will need to overcome if he’s going to keep the girl. With his Grandma Gertie and mom off at a retreat in the Cayman Islands, the revelation Augie never prepared himself for was that, for once, he was going to have to figure it out all on his own.

LeBlanc does it again with part 2 of this series ! I absolutely love these characters! Gertie just makes me love her more and more with her wild ways. Auggie really shows us how sometimes we have to fall apart so that even bigger and better things can fall together. I love the love between him and Rose. I cant wait for the next installment of this series to see where Auggie ends up next.

Reserving rating until I read the finished version. I was happy to beta read and provide feedback for edits on the second in the August Barton series. 💜

I'm so excited that I got to read this sequel!!! Jennifer kindly asked if I would be a Beta reader for her sequel to 'Trials and Tribulations of August Barton', seeing as I was a huge fan of book 1 I totally agreed to read the next "chapter" in Auggie's life. So good. Of course as a Beta reader I had to edit some, but not that much and the best part...I got to see what happened next with Auggie and the gang. Now this book is not out yet to read and so I'm not going to say anything really in this

I really enjoyed the sequel The Revelations Of August Barton. As Augie sorts out his life and situations that come his way we get to watch him handle life. There was some backstory on the family. The mother and grandmother go on a vacation together while Augie is home finally figuring things out on his own. I loved the first book and this one also. I hope there are more adventures to come as I find August Barton endearing.

The Revelations of August Barton is a well-written follow up to The Tribulations of August Barton. In this book, the reader learns more about Augies past, as he begins to make strides toward his future. How does everything play out for Augie? And how does his anxiety affect what is happening? Youll find out in this book! The descriptive language is superior to that of the first book in the series and the reader is able to feel Augies emotions, and really connect with him as events unfold. I will
