Great storyline, but needs better editing.This was a really great storyline and had great character, but the big flaw that bothered me was the poor editing job. Maybe Im a bit too picky, being a former English major, but I actually had trouble concentrating on the story. There were missing words and misspelled words that were driving me to distraction. This is the first time I have come across this in one of Ciana Stones books, and Im really hoping that it was just a fluke.I do not know what I expected exactly, but it was not this. I am in the process of reading all of Ciana Stone's works and wanted to figure out a reading order for the different series since the characters seem connected. I just finished The Seven boxset and was delighted to see Augustus, Gabriel and Severin on the scene in this book, though briefly. I was even more delighted that though the Legacy set should have been read first, there were no spoilers and I did not feel as though I had read
Great readI love the Legacy men so hot and sexy. I love that Joe and cotton creek are in this book. Learning that your family has a hidden history and your mom is behind it. Wow what a mind fxxx that must be. On to book two.
Logan longed for a ranch and family all his life. Married and divorced he has everything but isnt satisfied. Weird stuff happens but since his family has oil money he drifts - taking care of the family and the business his family owns. Sabine has loved Logan James since she was 7 years old. A tragic summer disaster causes the young friends to be separated 30 years until dangerous magic and an unknown evil threatens all Logan cherishes, Sabine included.
EntertainingThis book was entertaining. A very enjoyable story from start to finish. Can't wait to start the second book. Worth reading
