This was pretty good! The writing was done well and I really enjoyed the storyline. There really wasnt any dry parts. I was recently able to read Pilgrims Progress and it was neat to see how this book was similar, and yet the author put his own twist to it. I read this very quickly and it definitely keeps you wanting to see whatll happen next! I think any Pilgrim Progress fans would enjoy this story!I absolutely loved this book. It was a quick read and a very good and interesting story. I can't wait until the 2nd book comes out. If you like christian action books this is the one to read.
Kristian Anders, a poor farmer, leaves his city- Comfort Country, questing for 'The KIng'. He leaves behind his wife Christie, whom he both hates and loves. Wow.Wow.A Pilgrims Progress retelling? Yes please! This wasAmazing. I admit. I was skeptical at first. I'm not one for spiritual-y fictions. I loved the Circle Trilogy, but it had been recommended (and gifted) to me by some friends I really respect. When Peter reached out to me about writing a review, I was iffy. I didn't know if I would be able to read it through, if it would be to graphic, or too supernatural, or just sort of heavy for being a war story. But I'm so pleased!It was so well
Wow! This is a short, fast-paced book that is a modern version of Pilgrim's Progress. I didn't understand all the military terminology but it definitely portrayed the danger a searcher has who seeks the True King. The author kindly sent me a pdf of this book which I was thrilled to read. It was over much to soon.
Despite the intriguing beginning, I didnt particularly enjoy this one. It took me a long while to read, but I was finally able to push through as the ending picks up. Overall, the story is quite confusing for the most part and I feel that if certain details had been revealed sooner it would have been easier to follow. The constant switching between characters was also a bit jarring and their chapters/sections werent as well defined as I wouldve liked. I often found myself a bit confused and had

Originality. There are so few authors that actually use this idea. I have little knowledge of terms he uses in this book. I love that before the story begins, He tells you the meanings of this terms.
