I received an ARC from the author and "Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock" for an honest review. Let me start off by saying this is nowhere near my normal genre, however I will write an objective review. Scott Walker, "Yours", is a successful investment officer, and a fugitive. He's always been lucky in the finance world by going with his gut. However the exact opposite is true in his personal life. This story started off extremely slow and frankly boring. I struggled to keep readingThis book had me from when I first read the synopsis. I was really excited to start reading this book the moment I read the synopsis as this is my kind of book. I got hooked straight away and the book was not one that you could just put down and forget about. You couldnt just put it down you HAD to keep turning those pages. It is beautifully written and very interesting. 5 star read. I will be looking out for more of Lucas work.
Suspense novels often fall into one of two traps. Either the story is obviously written as a movie script and is therefore not an enjoyable read or the author goes over the top with descriptions. Id never heard the word outside of breastfeeding class) nipples pointing upwards in the lightly chilled air. I was still hanging
A conspiracy thriller that delves deep and I mean deep! into the ins and outs of financial trading.I received a Kindle copy from the author. My TakeThe first third of this was totally confusing with all the money stuff probably why I dont have any! But it also sets the mood and the background for Zero Alternative. After that, it is a series of mad chases and cloak-and-dagger antics with fake ID as he peels back more and more of the corruption behind how our world works.Pesaro includes
