What absolutely wonderful world building this book has! I really really loved this story and plan on reading it again and again. It is unique, and fun, and I got a charge out of Dorian and how spunky he is. It might have taken him a minute or two to catch up, but once he does, everybody better look out! The love scenes are erotic and emotional and really make this story a keeper. Kevyen and Dorian are a strong couple. Can't wait for the next book too see what's in store for the Vampires and wolves.
Wow this book was great the story of the vampire king and Dorian was fantastic, I do have some unanswered questions but I think they will be answered in later books in this series. I love how the author set a little teaser for who the next book will be about but didnt make it like a cliffhanger. Off to start the next one.

Toby Aden has done it again. From the start the story pulls you in. With drama and suspense you see the lives of the vampire and werewolf societies. Kevyan is a great king but being mated to Dorian makes him even better. Dorian has shown that he is strong enough to take on the roles he must. I love how the author has a bigger story playing out even as the focus story comes together. While I loved Kevyan and Dorian's romance, I am intigued as to who the mystery villian is. I am looking forward to
IntermixingThe book and the writing came as a complete shock. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like it but as the story unfolded my interest grew. The intense drama envelopes the reader to look at themselves to consider their own lives and dealing with the world going on around them and what needs to be done and accomplished.
Rating: 3.5 starsDespite the fact that this story had many problems, I really enjoyed it. I liked the MCs. Dorian was a bit over the top, but I liked him. I thought they had good chemistry together. Yes, it was major insta-lust which turned into insta-love but that is par for the course with these stories, so it didnt bother me. I think my major gripe was that the timing of events was a little obscure at times. Also, the author could have elaborated more on some of the events that were glossed
