Another great series by Rick! I absolutely loved these books they are so fun to read and filled with intrigue as to what'll happen next. The narrative is very unique and I thought the fact that he made the whole series a set of interviews made the whole thing that just more interesting!!Best humour found anywhere on the world. I don't care who you are, READ IT, READ IT, READ IT!!!!!!!
I liked those a lot. Refreshingly different from the Percy Jackson and Magnus Chase books, the Kane Chronicles kept me on my toes with all new villains and beasts to conquer.
EnjoyableI enjoyed this trilogy of adventures with the Egyptian mythos and magicians, but the focus on just the brother and sister was too exclusive for my taste. In mr. Riordan's Greco-Roman demigod stories there are a well developed ensemble of characters rather than such a narrow focus, and I find I enjoyed those novels a bit more than these ones. I would still say these are well worth reading and give the series four stars.
Teens and Egyptian Gods/Goddesses plus magic = MY Dream Series! I've always loved Egyptian Mythology and Rick Riordan is a genius! He has created an fantasy series with all of my favorite elements! Plus Hot Gods.. I had fun reading every page! I love the author's humor...the poo jokes! I can't say enough about The Kane Chronicles! Best Fantasy I have read in a long time and I'm an adult :) This is my indulgence and I hope to re-read it again with my kids!
2016 October I started reading the series again as I wanted to finish it. And I had the same issue. I liked the first book and had some trouble finishing the second and stopped for a long time before I finally read the third book. 2015 JuneI read the first 2 books in this box set. The Read Pyramid and The Throne of Fire. I liked them. Unfortunately, I became distracted and didn't finish the series. It's not badly written, or something, this series just never held my interest as much as R.
so i recently read the (AGAIN)the Kane Chronicles. it's quite a lovely story one reason being the idea "princess gets kiddnapped sir Bollock must save her" so on so forth... I'm quite sick of the idea of that...but forget my ranting it is a great story, theme and so on. its about saving the world with magic and going to different dimensions and all kinds of epic adventuring that would make anyone happy. also it appears to have LOL's in the book witch i admit i did laugh even though most jokes in
