Not a very good book, full of propaganda.It is great book to read. i couldn't stop reading the chapter cell 54 again and again. was very inspiring!!however, i was not happy with his decision to make peace with Israel no matter what. I did not know much about the people or history before I read this book. I was impressed with a different point of view of the Arab/Israeli conflict than I usually see from. Sadat was really a very different kind of leader than most in that part of the world.That is not to say, I love/endorse everything he did and said. I'm interested in Egyptian history, and this is definitely a biased view of it...haha! However, Sadat had a very interesting life and he has many life strategies and defense mechanisms that are interesting to note.
