Chronicle As Books The Butterfly Garden (That Second Chance #6)

A contemporary, heartfelt love story from an extraordinary author with the romantic sensibility of Elizabeth Lowell and the emotional breadth of Nora Roberts.

LOVE IS NOT ABOUT WHERE YOU'RE GOING...IT'S ALL IN HOW YOU GET THERE

Carefree photographer Jenny Romano is nearly as famous as her subjects. Her globe-trotting life leaves little time for a serious relationship, and that's just the way she likes it. Besides, her perfect older sister Grace already occupies the role of dutiful wife and mother--or so it seems. Suddenly, Grace needs her sister more than ever, and Jenny finds herself in the sort of small town, suburban life she swore to avoid. But there is the attractive neighbor next door....

For psychologist Elliot Drake, healing pain is an around-the-clock job that keeps his own relationships short and bittersweet. But Elliot has never met anyone like Jenny. Brash, outrageous, unpredictable, she's a force of nature--nothing at all like her cool, collected older sister. She's also made it clear that she's not sticking around for long. And suddenly, Elliot's not so sure that short-term is the way he wants things...

Taken by surprise and unsure of the next step, Elliot and Jenny are about to discover that real life happens whether you want it to or not--and truth gives wings to the heart's most important journeys.

Discuss About Books The Butterfly Garden (That Second Chance #6)
This was an interesting story, but I found the flow a little bit slow. There was a lot of action at the beginning, but then it didn't keep my interest long enough to read for more than a half hour at a time once a day.

Well DoneThe Butterfly Garden hits all the notes of love, betrayal, pain, grief, and redemption. Mixed with the poignancy of parental and sibling relationships, it makes you think.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I really enjoyed the story and the meanings in the book. Will definitely be reading more books written by Mary Campisi

I enjoyed the sisters' relationship and the story very much. Jenny's mind seemed to go in all directions before she would answer a question, which was distracting to me. Yes, I skipped the sex scene. Not something I read any more. Overall I really enjoyed the book and the all of the characters. A lot of the books I have read lately really show that people have no idea, or a very wrong idea, about how someone sees them. Then once they have an actual true conversation, everything changes and they

A family affair About two sisters as different as night and day. One married with two daughters. The other a photographer who loves to travel with no real commitment to anything but herself. Suddenly they find life throws them curve balls and everything changes. add in the over baring mother and you have one interesting family.

Mary Campisi has done it again.. this is the 6th book in the Second Chance series...again I was hooked from the first few pages.. it had everything in a Fantastic book.. the relationships between sister ..mothers and daughters..Husbands.. wives.. even friends.. the turns.. twists and the riamifications of their actions..I believed in the characters.. I cannot see either Grace or Jenny in me... Yet I came to love them both.. they have fears... hopes... love.. and yearnings..the burgeoning
