This was by far one of my favourites. Loved Lara and jack!Loved it Loved it!!! I've had this on my shelf for months now!! So glad that I chose to finish this series!!
Reviewed for THC ReviewsIve been a big fan of Kerrelyn Sparks Love at Stake series, since I read the first book five and a half years ago. Thats why I was utterly dismayed to discover that its been over four and a half years since I last read one. I guess when someone has as many books on their TBR pile as I do and reads as slowly as I do, its bound to happen. Something winds up on the back burner whether intentionally or not, but its still sad, especially when theyre books that I love as much
I loved this couple, the son of Casanova and the woman who worked as a police officer with a mind that couldn't be controlled by the vampires and the story infused with mythology! Just what I always wanted! Jack tried his best to concealed Lara from his world, but a relationship won't work without honesty, and when he finally let Lara into his world, it's up to the heroine to decide whether to follow her brain or her heart. This was a FAST read because I jumped the boring drawn out nothing parts...I was not too keen on this girl Lara. She's an idiot. She's a whimp.
