Description Supposing Books The Prophecy (Divinity Stone #1)

The people of Shiloh, Virginia thought it was just a story. A legend to keep children from misbehaving. A challenge to prove you have courage.

What they didn't know was that it was real.

All of it was real.

When Starlette McKinley moved from the sparkling lights of LA to the sleepy town of Shiloh, she didn't know that she would be the catalyst. She didn't know that the rage and energy pulsing through her would be the key to unleashing an unsurmountable power that would either be the saving of mankind, or its destruction.

The blood will run, and the prophecy will be revealed. But will she be able to overcome the insurmountable odds? Or will she succumb to the energy within, welcoming the darkness that has become her only friend.

Criticize Appertaining To Books The Prophecy (Divinity Stone #1)
I was excited to read this story because I am always game for a good YA book series and I am happy to say it did not disappoint. I really liked Star. She is an edgy, sarcastic, dramatic teenager who is trying to figure out what is wrong with her. What she does know is that there is something dark inside of her that is causing things to happen and people to get hurt. Star and her family literally move across the country from L.A. to Shiloh, V.A., just to give get a second chance at a normal life.

I loved the story of this book. The opening chapter of the book is interesting. It's the reason that made me want to read more of what will happen next. Can't wait what will happen next.I love the main character, Starlette McKinley a.k.a. Star.. I love how the author, Desiree, brought Star to life. The minor characters are also perfect in a sense that they are not what we sometimes encounter (for example predictable, good nature, typical personalities that sometimes we thought it's boring). One of

5 Stars - Starlette is thrown into a new home in a new state, everything that was familiar is gone. On top of that crazy unexplainable things have been happening over the last year to her. She can't control her feelings of anger that have been swirling inside even though she tries. Then it happens and her family up and move across the country. Where being a total outsider makes her stand out. Can she try and control this dark feeling inside her. Can she adjust to new surroundings and make new

The Prophecy (The Divinity Stone Series)This book is just the start of what I forsee being a Best Selling Series. Desiree DeOrto absolutely blew me away with her magnificent creativity, and deep descriptive writing. I haven't seen writing this expressive since my high school days. I can still remember my English Lit teacher telling us to use more words, get deeper, expressing our story lines; well Desiree does just that in her book. She simply amazed me with her words. Page after page, I felt

The beginning of this book really pulled me in. I found myself immediately traveling into Sarah's fantastical world of witches and wizards, and then into Starlette's modern world where the power of her ancestors is nothing more than a legend. All the characters were unique and I enjoyed that the main character didn't fall instantly in love with every hot guy she saw. The two friends were enjoyable. I definitely want to know more about them and I hope to see them in book two. This story ended

I love the book it was amazing. It had totally relatable characters and parts that made me laugh as well as grip the edge of my couch because I couldn't wait to find out what was next. Totally looking foward to reading the next in this series. The only thing I would have to say is that I would like more action but based off of what I have read I really do believe that the second book is going to be booming with it.

Well, well, if you think you've read anything like this before...you haven't. The protagonist is a girl with a past and a tormented present, always battling her own demons and taking whatever life throws her way in a hellfire of a way. Star is no ordinary protagonist and neither is anything else in the book. Set in the town of Shiloh, Star thinks that she is going to either fake it 'til she can get out of there or (and more likely) will experience a repeat of the past that brought her to this
