Narrative In Pursuance Of Books Special Forces (Special Forces #1-3)
Special Forces is an epic work of military gay erotic fiction, which is available for free online. The three cycles are finished and published: Soldiers, (Ch 1–19) and Mercenaries (Ch 20-53) and Veterans (Ch 54-70). Special Forces has 70 chapters in total. It is the epic story of a Scottish SAS soldier and a Soviet spetsnaz soldier. Two enemies who meet in the line of duty during the early days of the Soviet Union's last war in Afghanistan. Behind enemy lines respect and finally love grow ... but that's only the official version. The reality of these two men is dark, brutal, fuelled by aggression and insane lust. Steeped in pain and killing, with death as their shoulder companion, these Special Forces soldiers meet in 1980. Their intense hatred caused by rape, revenge and torture turning into fucked-up lust and years of secret encounters in the rat-infested labyrinth of Kabul and the Afghan mountains. Time, despair and desolation smoothing down the sharpness of hatred, its venom drained with each physical encounter, the lust helping to form an understanding that only two men of the same kind can share. Enemy Mine and Brothers in Arms - on two different sides. This novel spans across over twenty-five years of their lives. It's harsh and violent, but life is cruel and they just do what they need to survive. I had reservations about reading this title...man am I glad I read this!!! I can't review this title until I've finished the second Merc's , but I would highly recommend it with the caveat that it is not for the faint of heart. There's brutal violence, sex and emotional tug of "war" going on that will leave you wanting to turn the next page.A Mos Def good read.A.Epic is the perfect descriptor for Special Forces. This is not just M/M, not just erotica, but a fierce, sweeping love story that spans over 20 years. Reading it, I couldn't help but be utterly transported. The emotions are incredible, raw and intense. I ran through the gamut: rocking with laughter, sighing in anguish, crying openly--connecting with the whole host of characters in a way that very rarely happens. These strong, passionate, fucked-up men feel so incredibly real, it's as though all
A 25 year romance of Dan and Vadim~ This book was all encompassing, exquisitely and masterfully written, and at times I found it to be difficult to read; yet still absolutely beautiful to read..I found this book(s) to be a powerful, intense heart-pounding love story of Dan and Vadim, their love begins with a brutal start and somehow mocks normalcy. Take, hate, and revenge, true enemies, and then love. The Beginning~ Revolved Around the Beautiful Mountains of Afghanistan~ however, in this book
~~~Oh, please can I give this 10 stars? I really have no words. All of the previous reviews have already said all the perfect words. For a mature, adult reader this will be a life changing novel. Admittedly, I put my life on hold to finish this book. I just couldn't stop reading. The character building was everything. I will carry Dan and Vadim with me forever.~~~Take a look at my Male/Male Romance Book Blog: http://www.attentionisarbitrary.blogspot.com
I don't know how to rate this, because I completely adored the first part - Soldiers - and tbh I almost cannot stand the other two. It's not that they're badly written - completely opposite - but the characters and the direction it all went in just pissed me off to no end.Dan suddenly became a whore and Vadim just had to suck it up to continue to be with him and it's so totally unexpected, I've been like O.o during the first part of Mercenaries. I know it's stupid, but I felt so betrayed.
This book should come with the following warning labels:1) Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster the likes of which you won't believe until you're in the middle of the ride, yet again for the bazillionth time at the top of an 85°, 200 foot drop looking down and screaming, "WHY THE FUCK DID I THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA AGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN?!" 2) The main couple has an open relationship. If that idea bothers you at all, this story is NOT for you. Trust me. 3) Make sure you have a therapist
